Spaghetti Squash Primavera: A Great Meal For Day 8 of The Idiot Proof Diet

Squash is a vegetable on the allowed list of  the Fat Loss For Idiots Diet Generator programme. Spaghetti squash is a great ‘mock pasta’ dish.  What does spaghetti squash taste like? It doesn’t taste like spaghetti but it’s kind of like a shredded/fried potato texture in long strands that are a yellowy colour. Here’s a great recipe for this dish that’s low cal, legal on the diet, and a great way to trick your metabolism while tantalizing your taste buds!

Spaghetti Squash Primavera

-1 spaghetti squash: microwave 8-12 minutes. Pierce with a fork several times and put in a dish with 1/4 cup of water. Turn spaghetti squash over half way during cooking.

-Halve the squash and separate the strands from the seeds

Meanwhile, in a frying pan sautee some slices of zucchini, pepper, and sundried tomato in oil.

Add spaghetti squash and a touch each of tomato sauce, spices, an ounce of shredded cheese, and stir fry for a few minutes.
