I’ve just heard about a great addition to the vegetable day on the Idiot Proof diet —Spaghetti Squash.  Spaghetti squash is a large vegetable (and squash is allowed on the diet!) and the insides, when scooped out, resemble spaghetti. If you’re starved for carbs on your FL4I diet, you might find that eating this is helpful. On my next vegetable day (day 8)which is vegetables and salad only, I’m planning to prepare the following recipe:

Spaghetti Squash With Marinara Sauce

1. Pierce squash several times with a fork

2. Cook at 350 for about an hour in the oven until tender

3. Cover with tomato marinara sauce and spices and 1 ounce of grated cheese

Have you tried the spaghetti squash on your Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet? Did you come up with other recipe variations?  What does spaghetti squash taste like? I’m looking forward to trying it and am told it is a great spaghetti substitute / carb substitute.
