Day 6 of the Idiot Proof Diet
Today is day 6 of 11 of my first time trying the Idiot Proof Diet. To read my journal from day 1, start here. I have 5 days to go on the diet which you can purchase from: Calorie Shifting Diet. As of yesterday I’d lost 4 pounds in 5 days but today the scale is up about a pound. I’m not nervous about that though, because I know our bodies can vary based on up to five pounds of water weight. I’m not discouraged.

Today I had a bit of trouble with breakfast because of the menu so had turkey for breakfast which sounds a bit weird but made the most sense based on the menu. One of the things I love about the diet is that I can simply choose which meals to have at which times. Most meals offer you choices you can have together or you can choose to opt for one or a few of the items listed for that meal. Instead of always having the same thing at a certain time of day I can choose to decide when and if something listed suits me.
Turkey for breakfast?
Turkey might not sound appealing for breakfast but I waited until about 10:30 or so to eat it and saved a meal of eggs for dinner because it looked like the best meal of the day. Because I enjoy dinner so much and want something substantial eggs made sense based on what was on the list of options.
I’m looking forward to an indulgence of frozen yogurt and peaches for a late night snack tonight and have been thinking about it for about 3 days!
